I made a few breakthroughs on the CDR front yesterday, and I've just written it up on my Blog for anyone interested.
Basically it's possible to pull data from the BCM50 (and probably the 450) without using the nortel supplied applications.
It's not complete - I don't know what the app is posting to delete files at present - but it's a good start!
