I have an goal: I would like our CCR tree to have an option that forwards calls to a hunt group, if no one in the hunt group answers, I would like it to rollover to an analog phone line that forwards to an external set.

I have tried using the Transfer type, with "Route" and "Intercom", but neither seem to be rolling over. If I call the extension internally, it rolls to the cell phone without fail. If I call the hunt group internally and let it rollover to the analog line, it works. For some reason, when I bring the CCR tree into the equation, it does not want to rollover.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks!

I had to do something similar to your needs yesterday and this is how I was able to get it to work. I am not a pro, so others might have a better idea on how to do this.

Add a menu to the CCR Tree Properties. When editing the menu, the CCR Transfer Node Properties should have the Outdial method set to "Intercom" and the Phone Number set to your Hunt Group DN number.

Next, set your Hunt group DN up to overflow to your analog line that is manually forwarded to your external number.

The members remain in the hunt group with the option to answer and is forwarded to an external number after 15 seconds of not answering.

Hope this helps.

Figured it out, transfer type needed to be "Intercom", AND under Telephony->Global->Feature Settings, "Transfer Callback Timeout" needed to be set to "After 12 rings

Just understand that the Transfer Callback setting is system wide. The reason I'm mentioning this is because I had one set up this way one time and everthing was great until someone complained that now his assistant could not cover his phone. He just happen to be the CEO so guess what got changed back to 4 rings.
