BCM50/callpilot fowarding to VM not working

A problem I have not seen before. customer has a BCM50/callpilot
Release unknown. When calls are fowarded to a mailbox after the FNA timer expires the display flashes 224>363 Not available
after a few seconds Norstar Nora says "exiting the system goodbye"
any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes the voice mail is running, and I can access mailboxes via F980
but callers forwarded never get to the mailbox greeting.
