BCM50 Call forward set 221 to 225 and if not answered call goes to voicemail but 221's voicemail

Hello to all,

Looking for some help.
I have a client who call forwards set "F4" to 225 yet it rings at 225 but if it goes to voicemail it goes to 221's VM. I've checked all sets on cfna to voicemail and all are set at 3 rings so no mailbox superseed the AA or other mailbox.
AA is set to 221, Operator as well.

What am I missing?

I think it is because the voicemail box will always belong to the originally dialled and first DN that is 221 in your case.

By design, people are trying to get a hold of the person at 221 and not 225 therefore they want to leave that message at 221.

If you do not need mailbox 225 then delete it then add 225 as an Alt DN (can add up to 5) under MB221 (or MB100?)
You could also setup Off Prem Notify and have it call Internal to 225.
