bcm50 auto attendent night service operator

have a bcm 50 in house. Our main attendent ext1015, the port went dead today. switched phone over to ext1020 but the auto attendent night service ring is not working on this extension. changed the auto attentent is call pilot.
added ext1020 to that ring group, but nothing works. any help would be great as the local IT company charges $500 expedite fee for same day service.

Did you make ext 1020 the new Controll set for this Night Group?

Change dn from 1020 to 1015 also would work and simpler.

It is in the settings for the lines that are in the ring group. You'll see a column called control set for each line. Each has to be changed to the new DN. Changing the set DN won't work.

oldestgeek is correct the control set is just what it says "SET", it is not extension. In other words if extension 1015 is the control set and you change the dn to 2015. Then now 2015 is the control set. Hope that made since

he did not want to change the control set he never mentionned wich set is the control set he change extension in the ring group by changing dn back to the original with a different port should work.

dpezzato, is the answer mode manual or auto? What phone has the night mode button? I assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that since you were talking about the attendant phone, that it was the set that had the "night" button. If so, you have to program the button back and make that phone the control set for the ring group.
