BCM50 auth code for expansion 1

I have a new BCM50 I have an auth. code for 2 analog trunks, internal and an auth. code for the expansion cabinet. Am I correct that regardless of the MBM in the expansion cabinet, it should work. It happens to be a GATM4, but the lines show as unequipped. The card is enabled.

yes. do u have an active CO line on the card? Are the dipswitches in the default position?

No trunks connected, dip switches are factory. Will the trunks make a difference? The two internal trunks show idle with out having anything connected.

I believe so. Connect a CO trunk to it and the port should show active.

Are the leds "solid green" on the GATM4?

Are you sure you connected the expansion in the right port?

The internal will show idle as they are ATA's and always active.

All lights are solid green, i'm in the correct port. I think Dasheen is right on. Thanks!
