Looking for ideas on missing link when setting up BCM50 with i2004 at remote locations, what ports need to forwarded on the firewall and the router. I have 7000, 50000-52850, & 28000-28255 set at the the host location to fwd to the BCM. On my phones I get a steady time/date but no firm connection. Do I have to many ports open? By the way, Bcm monitor says I have IP phones connected, proper IP address show, and they are showing ports ph1 1024, ph2 5000.

Use a separate VPN connection between the remote sites and the central site. IP telephony will be neither stable nor acceptable over the public internet without the VPN.
