BCM50 AA ringing

Hi,

Does anyone know how to take the first ring off the AA in callpilot when you set the AA to '0' rings before answering. My AA rings the phones once before it actually goes to the AA msg.

Only way around that is to change the line from appear and ring to appear only, or remove the line from the set if its configured as ring only.

i have tried that and the phones do not ring. can you help?

Do you want the phones to ring? If so, then you need to change the ringing in the AA table from 0 to whatever you want it to be before the AA answers.

In element Manager,

Configuration Tab
Telephony
Sets
Active Sets
Click on the DN of a set that is ringing before AA picks up.
Click Capabilities and Preferences Tab
On the bottom half of the page, uncheck the Redirect Ring box.

Voila!! No more annoying short rings before AA answers call.

Sorry, i have tried this and it still rings once before the AA cuts in and i do not want it to ring in at all before the AA gets to it.

If it's ringing a half ring before the AA is picking it up, that is normal.

biv343 has the correct answer.

If you want the AA to pickup the lines, why do you have the lines appear on the phones??????????????
