Hello all, I installed a bcm50 version 6.0 with 18 digital sets, a 12 channel pri and one seat of unified messaging last month. The um user has Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 email. Whenever a new voicemail message is left, he opens Call Pilot player and the message begins playing but the volume is all the way down. He adjusts the volume bar up then hits play and it plays fine but the volume always returns to zero after playing a message. The only time the computer speaker volume drops all time way down is when he is listening to um. Music and other sounds that play through the computer work fine. Any ideas?

Thanks, Lanny

I'm thinking about removing the um program from his computer and re-installing it. Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance, Lanny

Have you checked the volume properties for the PC? There are a lot of setings in there for different types of inputs. Make sure the volume bar is up all the way on all of them.

When you open the volume control panel, click on options, then properties and you should see a bunch of checkboxes. Make sure they are all checked so you can adjust the volume for each one. That might be the issue.

Thanks, the Call Pilot player volume control was turned all the way down. The pc system volume control for Call Pilot player is only present when the um application is open. Works perfectly after adjustment.
