Previously posted a problem (below) using a BCM 50 (similar to 450). We're not getting a Caller/Extension ID passed from the IP2050 through an attached Algo USB ATA device connected to our analog phones. The Caller ID works perfectly on the IP2050, but reads "NO DATA" or "EXTERNAL CALL" on all analog devices. With telco and Algo techs, have narrowed the problem down to something with the SQID or Caller ID signal being passed through the Algo (or generated by the BCM). The telco tech's handset does signal the SQID (squeal about 1 second after the first ring), but for some reason, the analog device can't recognize it.
Questions:
1) What could most likely be wrong with the SQID? (I know that's an open ended question)
2) What equipment exists to measure/detect/record the SQID and determine what is wrong.
If we can determine what is wrong, the Algo techs could possibly change the firmware to correct this issue.

PREVIOUS POST:
We currently have Release 5 for our Nortel BCM 50. In another location we are running an IP Softphone 2050 v2 with an Algo 4900 USB ATA adapter connected to the computer. The phone connected through the Algo receives and dials calls fine. The problem we are having is that there is no "Caller ID" information getting passed to the phone that is connected to the Algo unit. The only information we see displayed on the phone display is "External Call", yet the information that is displayed on the computer's 2050 window shows the correct Caller ID or Extension every time. We have downloaded the latest firmware from Algo, and even sent our Algo unit back to Algo Solutions for testing and confirmed that it works correctly. We have updated the BCM 50 to the latest version. We have gone through most of the settings on our BCM with Algo technical support, and everything seems to be set correctly as they also have a BCM 50 (not sure what release). We currently have the newest IP Softphone 2050 v4.1 installed to see if that would make a difference and the results are the same: "External Call" is the only thing that appears in the digital phone display. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
