BCM50 3.0 Low volume on the Record Message 'Beep'

I have a BCM50 3.0 that has very low volume on the 'Beep' that prompts you to begin recording your voice mail message. It's so faint that the customer says that some people calling the the office don't know when they should start talking to leave a message. The 'Beep' volume is very low even if leaving a message internally. All the other audibles / recordings coming from the BCM have very good volume, it's only the 'Beep' that appears to be soft. Has anyone else experienced this problem and does anyone have a solution? Is there a way to re-record the 'Beep'?
 
I patched it with the latest Peps but no change. Distributor recommended a warranty replacement which I just installed. That restored the beep to the same level that other BCM50 systems are at. Unfortunately the customer thinks its still too low. And in comparison to a standalone Call Pilot or NAM the 50's appear to have a volume thats about half what the others have.
 
I don't know that this is an option or not but On the Miran cards they used to have different sound files with different volume levels perhaps Nortel can provide the same for the BCM 50. Worth a question to the vendor. . .

We still have not resolved the issue of the low volume on the beep. We compared this site to other BCM50s, old and new, and they sound the same. If you compare the BCM50 Callpilot 'beep' to a standalone Callpilot 'beep' the differnce is remarkable. The standalone Callpilot is lots clearer and louder. Also, it makes no difference if its an internal or external call.
