Ok guy's I'm having the problem of the PRI droping or locking up on my BCM the circuit has been tested the PRI card replaced and still it will drop every couple of day's some time's every day , would the IP set's cause the clocking to be off , what should the Codec be be set at ? it is set to Default and the IP terminal Global setting's is Default Codec is set to auto and the jitter buffer is auto , any ideas if this would cause Clocking issues ?

Is the bcm fully patched? is it a pri to the pstn or a point to point t-1 to another bcm site? Codecs are relatedto your ip telephony network. Choice in codec would depend on network bandwidth.

verify w/ telco that the bcm pri protocol matches that of telco. Clock source should be set to primary.

its not fully patched but it is a new system 5 months old , I have Tech at the site now so we will see what he finds . Thanks

Load the current patches. The fact that it's only 5mths old means nothing.

There was a problem w/ PRIs on the 450 r1 when it first came out and a patch fixed it.
