Hello Customer is buying bcm450 with pri and 40 digital sets for their home office and bcm50 with 10 digital sets for each of their two branch offices. Customer also has an existing point to point T1 line from their home office to each branch office for data networking. We plan to connect the two bcm50s to the 450 via the two data T1s with voip keycodes. Question: What's the best method for connecting the 3 systems together at my office to test and program before actually installing them? I've networked bcms together several times but always by using DTMs and T1 lines and would connect them back to back at my shop via a cross cable to test and program before installing whenever possible. Many thanks in advance.

Just give them each a valid LAN address and set them up. Once the systems are installed at the permanent locations, change the IP addresses and adjust the IP Trunk routing.

Thanks DB As far as the physical connection to test with, can I connect bcm450 LAN port to bcm50 LAN port or should I connect the systems together using data switches? Also if using data switches would bcm450 LAN port 1 to one switch and bcm450 LAN port 2 to another switch to connect the bcm50s sound like a plan?

Lan 1 and 2 are the same IP address not like the BCM 400.
And yes you can connect to the lan and test before going live.
