I have 2 BCM450 R6 to come into my shop where the password has been changed. I had 2 FRU HD on the shelf and decided to use those to just reimage the machines and get it off my bench. Here's the issue I'm running into: the BCM450s are in a loop and will not read the drives. I can place the drives into a BCM50 and I'm able to go through the setup process and select the image I want. I have connected to the serial port of the BCM450 to watch it boot up but as previously stated, it's in a loop. I've tried to hit a key to stop the auto boot but it doesn't respond. I'm looking for any help. Thanks in advance.

However, the easiest way is to put the original disks back in the BCM and power it up. Look for the MAC address on the front of the BCM450 disk tray that's on a sticker.

It's also sometimes found when you use the serial port and try to connect.

Make a note of the address and also the current date.

Just contact those of us who can help you or look on line as we can't give out anymore assistance on Tek-tips with password support.
