We had a power failure friday and since then I have had all kinds of problems that clear up after a restart but they come back after about 24 hours. The biggest issue is my IP soft phones can't connect or are choppy. When they totally go down and I look at the services from the maintenance screen I get the following list all are in red except the two that are showing degraded and they are yellow.

HotDesking Stopped Auto LocalSystem HotDesking OK
MGS Stopped Auto LocalSystem Media Gateway Server OK
qos_flt_init Stopped Auto LocalSystem qos_flt_init OK
UPSConsoleToggle Stopped Auto LocalSystem UPSConsoleToggle OK
UTPS Stop Pending Auto LocalSystem UNISTIM Terminal Proxy Server Degraded
VoiceNetVoIPGateway Stop Pending Auto LocalSystem VoIP Gateway Degraded
VoiceWAN Stopped Auto LocalSystem Voice WAN OK

When I try to log into the BCM I get the following error.

Connection Failed Dcom Server is not ready. Please try later

The only thing I can do to get things back online is to restart and I can't login so I have to pull the plug.

When watching the BCM monitor the Ram line goes red alot and flashes yellow and rarely goes green at about 85% but most of the time it is at about 95%

Any Ideas would be helpfull.
Thanks

It could be 2 things. The Base Function Tray or the Hard Drive. Unscrew the bottom tray of the bcm, pull it and locate the capacitors. If they are green, bulgy and leaking you will have to replace the Base Function Tray.(the motherboard in other word). If they are Blue they are probably good and the BFT doent need to be replaced.
At that point you could remove the other 2 screws on that same bottom tray and see the VGA connector. Just hookup a monitor to it and reboot the bcm. You'll see errors if the Hard Drive is dying.
Good luck!

I have a monitor connected to the front of the BCM and when the system boots the blue NT start up screen appears and the white dots go across the screen but the blue screen never goes away. After the system is up and running what should be on the screen? I have never until now put a monitor on that port and watched. The system comes up and works including my VM and call center ACD but seems to degrade over time and my Memory resources go way up.

The blue WinNT boot screen will always be there - you don't actually see the Windows desktop from the monitor port.

I would make sure you get a good backup of the system while its up and running. It could be the beginnings of file corrpution on the hard disk.
