BCM400 to 450 R5 migration

Has anyone done one of these. Nortel has an software/hardware upgrade kit available so it looks like a gut swap basically.

They also say to use DMM to migrate the database.
 
I thought the gut swap was only for the 200/400 upgrade to 5.0 and the 450 was just a s/w upgrade.
 
Sorry... missed the 400 part of thread. Thought I read upgrading 450.
 
According to Nortel the DMM is supposed to be out Q1 2010, but who knows at this point.

I have gotten two answers from them on the upgrade. One person said the gutswap will leave it as a 400, but it will have 5.0 software. The other said what we mentioned in this post, that it will become a 450 on R5.

I will post any definitely answer I get from Nortel or if I do one of the upgrade beforehand.
 
It will become a 450 as the system capacity potential increases allowing up to 300 sets to be installed.
