BCM400 Rls.3.7- Error Loading Patches

In attempting to load Patches I get the following errors:

Failure sequence---
Wizard window:
"Configuring FTP server on BCM"

Wizard Pop Up:
"An error occurred during transfer.Transfer canceled.Please restart update"
Click OK button

Window:
"Performing System Health Check"

Pop up:
"Time out waiting for initial information from BCM"
Click OK button and repeated with the same results.

All Pre-Req's are met. Installed patches are inventoried.

are you loading the patch on-site or remotely?

Onsite w/ X-over cable directly into second NIC

I have had this a couple of times...

Give the system a full reboot before trying to install the patch

Check your network adaptor has only one ip address

Check you firewall settings on your network adaptor maybe try disabling them during the patch process

Disconnect LAN1 form the customers network and plug your cross over cable into LAN1

Check the FTP upload directory is not full there is a tip about this problem somewhere

when you open your patch do you see where you can put in the BCM ip and username...
