This was a 3.7 upgraded to 4.0. They also have an Expansion cabinet. All of a sudden their VM goes down and we cannot connect to it. Also the LAN ports are not working. It has all the symptoms of the old 3.6 BFT issue, but this BFT has blue capacitors. We replaced the HDD and no change. We then replaced the BFT with no change. The HDD is not spinning. We tested the power leads and both show 5V for the hard drive. Has anyone seen this issue?

It's your power supply. Just because it reads 5V doesn;t necessarilly mean that the supply is delivering current. Seen this issue a few times.

You were right. I was the power supply.
