BCM400 R4 on BCM400 R3.7

I just moved an R4 MSC & HD from a BCM400 (motherboard died) and I've put in a BCM400 R3.7 that I had in stock... (new)

Of course it doesn't work since the BIOS is made for the R3.7.

Is there a workaround to get my R4 MSC&HD working in my 3.7 box

This R4 system is fully license and it cannot be upgraded since it's already running R4... I could upgrade the old new box but I'll spend money for nothing since I already have it.

What exactly does not work?
Do the digital phones work?
Is it services not working?

Have you applied the bios patch

I have used old boards in a various systems without any problems

Are you able to migrate the keycodes from the BCM 400 site ID onto the BCM 3.7 assuming that it never had keycodes?

The system came up once, then I tried to access the BCM using the element manager.... unable to connect so restart the BCM and it keep flashing and not coming back up...

How do I apply the bios patch.... well, where can I download this patch.

Try a new 4.0 harddrive.
The old one could be corupted.

Does the system power up ok.
Do the mbm cards come up and stay steady

Thanks snowman .... for some reason my disk was bad, I tried to reprogram the hardrive using ghost and I got bad sectors running checkdisk.

I build up a brand new image on another HD and it worked fine... I guess this hard drive was border line for failure giving me hard time to investigate...
