Hello All!

I've usually worked on BCM1000's so this is a first. How do you gain access if you're unsure of ip addresses? I tried what I thought to be the serial port with no reaction and the IP address that was spec'd on the front gives me no response unless my subnet mask is wrong? IP1 has a sticker that reads 10.0.0.15. I set to .16 but got now reacion? Can I connect and determine addresses and gain entry similar to the 1000 or is it a different process? HELP! would be greatly appreciated! THanks!

Connect a null modem cable to the BCM, 9600-8-N-1, log in, and check the IP address that way.

Thanks BIV!

I ended up getting in with the serial cable but for some reason it was little reluctant to give me a login prompt without rebooting the BCM with the serial cable in place first.
