How can I get rid of the target attendant for a mailbox? Customer does not want press 0 to ring another telephone. Right now it rings a different telephone than the operator and when we try to delete it or change it to call the telephone assigned to the mailbox it won't change. Thank you!!!!!!

You will have to change it in the administration for the mailbox.
Log into the mailbox using F981, then press 8 for Administration.
Follow the voice prompts from there.

I did that but after 8 - admin & 5 for target attendant we didn't get an option to delete. Tried pressing # but it wouldn't accept. Tried entering the user's intercom number but it still went to the same dial 0 phone. Please help!

Instead of deleting, just enter the users own extension..

Or, go into Class of Service for the mailbox (usually COS 1) and unselect target attendant.. I think it's in there..

--DB

If you configure it for 0 it will call the Voicemail Attendant as configured in F982.
If you want users to be able to 0 out of Voicemail AA/CCR, but not out of subscriber mailboxes, you will need to set Target Attendant to N in the Class of Service as DB instructed.
If you don't care about dial zero from VoiceMail, set the subscriber mailbox to zero out to the opearator and then clear the DN in F982.
