The customer has BCM400 with 3.6 & cumulative patch3. A user forwards his phone to his cel phone or any number. When you call his ext or DID the caller hears silence until the call is answered. So if the call ring 6 times on the cel phone then the caller hears 30 seconds of silence. This happens also on F84 redirect and on other phone sets. Any ideas?
Thanks,

only thing i can think of is to check your dial time out. When using a dialing plan the the dial time out controls the delay before the call is sent.

The dialtime out is set at 4. The caller hears silence upto about 30-40 sec. Could this be an issue with how the PRI is set up with the carrier? Is there some kind of signaling that gets sent back to the BCM from the Carrier?
Thanks for your help,
Mike Science
