Hi all,
It's looking like another snow storm is coming to Eastern PA Tuesday night. In the event that public transportation/the city is shutdown, we'll need to have an alternate greeting play. When our phone system was installed, we recorded "Inclimate Weather" greetings, but I'm not sure how we use them. Can I do it by calling into the phone system or do I need to log in through the VPN, access the callpilotmanager site?

Thanks!

The best way is to VPN in and change the greeting that is played when the call is answered.

Another way is to use the Business Closed portion of the table. Then use Feature 982 and set Business Open to No. This will force the greeting to play thats defined in the table, and continue to play until the business open status is set back to Yes.

Thanks DBrewskey,

Using the first method, will I need to manually change the greetings for all skillsets in the call center, as well as the main line greeting?

Not if skillsets first hear the main greeting.

Also here is another method...you can do from cell phone if need.
This is assuming you have Greeting #4 set to play during None Business under Table:

Call your business from cell phone and log into the system manager mailbox, press 99....in there you can close the business (as if doing F982) and also re-record Greeting # 4.
