My company bought a brand new BCM400 but when I turn on the BCM400 the led never stop flashing Led:3,4,5,6,7,8, I used the reset buttom and didn't work.

What s/w version? Was it a referb? Should boot up and get solid lights.

Relase 4.0 and it is not refurbished, what could it be?

How much time are you giving the system to come up? It may take upwards of 10 minutes for the Linux side of the box to
boot all the way up and have all the services running which
is when you will get all your solid green LED's

Could it be an upgraded system that was upgraded to 4.0 and have a BFT w/ defective capacitors (green)?

Maybe the HD is bad and the OS isn't coming up?

Or ur not waiting long enough like the others said.

First, verify your BFT and make sure the capacitors are blue.
Second, plug a monitor on the bcm behind the lower tray and power it on and see if you have any errors on the drive while booting.

Open it up and check the hard drive is connected ok.

Could have come loose on transporting to site
