Has anyone connected a BCM400 and a Polycom Conferencing unit via VOIP? My customer has a remote office with all IP phones. The want to setup a Polycom unit at the remote site and it would have to connect back to their BCM via VOIP.
What do you think about using an ATA to get analog and then sending it over the network using 2 gateways and then an analog Polycom? Is this going to be more headaches than it's worth?
Thanks

To be honest it may be more hassle than it is worth. You would be probably better just using an IP2033. I know it will work out more expensive, but would be less problematic

Thanks for the info.

Do you know if the IP2033 is available is the US? All prices I'm finding on the internet is listed in UK? Would there be a problem using one of these in the US?

They are available from authorized Nortel vendors and quite a few gray market sellers as well. They're not cheap though - I was quoted $1299 recently for new ones.
