I have a 400 that seems to have a full hard drive and won't complete the patch i'm trying to put on it.

any suggestions on how to clean up the hard drive so i can attempt this patch again?

What release is it?

If it's a 3.X, you just go in through the serial port and navigate to the E drive. Once there, just do a delete *.*.

This usually happens when someone does a backup to the BCM instead of somewhere off the box.

I started a thread with a similar issue. I tried the 028 and 029 SU patch and I get an error during the applying process. Keep watching mine and I'll watch yours and hopefully we can find a solution.

Sorry, didn't read the title close enough. Rel 4.0

What kind of error are you getting?

no error, patch just won't complete. had the same problem on another 400 the customer has and nortel went in and removed alt languages and cleared up enough space to load the patch. i don't want to call them back, just wanted to know if i could do it myself.
