BCM400 3.7, T7208 call forward

I am unable to forward a T7208 set to an external number. I have the route built, the set has access, checked allow redirect. When I press ftr 4, 9, the number it just waits, is there something that must be done to end the dialing string? Pound or * don't do anything?

Got it, after the number you need to press the hold button.
