Our Customer recieved some new DID's this week and I am having issues with one DID. We are receiving 3 digits from telco. I have programmed TL 272 to receive 580. and have the AA set to pick up that TL of 272 after 0 rings.

Here is the issue when you call the number the caller heres dead air for about 5 secounds and then gets a fast busy signal. I have watched the incoming calls for that DID on the BCM monitor. The calls hit the BCM and then disconnects. At that point is when the caller heres the fast busy. I have talked to Telco and they said it is on our equipment.

I have programmed different TL with no change and have even taken out the received digits of 580 just to let th call ride on the PRI and ring out there in lala land and same thing.

I personally say it's a telco issue but I am looking for any thoughts you folks have.

Also the BCM3.7 has never been patched.

You may have a conflict with dn580 , check your Application DNs and make sure that 580 is not in use , it could also be a AA setup issue but I assume the AA works for other DID lines , also 580 may be an inactive dn check there also .

I would really patch this system... believe me its needed in many ways....

Anyways did you try to set this TL on an active set... just to see what will happen then? Are all the external DNs 3 digit and could you post a trace?

cheers,

subx

In the monitor are you seeing the digits make it to you. Also is there a prime for the trunks, an unprogramed number ringing in should ring the prime set for the trunks.

Thanks for the imput. The problem was a telco issue. we had vendor meet and the found the issue to be on their end. Thanks for the info guys I will store for future.
