Bcm400 3.7 Cdr real time client ACCESS DENIED

Hi i have a bcm400 3.7 i have created a user account in the cdr group the same user name/ password as the computer.
The error im getting is
"Unable to establish event connection Access is denied"

The pc is running Xp tried with and without service pack 2
The Bcm has the su99.3 patch.

Any suggestions pls
