Hi all,
I have a customer with a BCM200 V3.5 with 28 extensions and a PRI DID/DOD trunk. He is complaining that on occcasion he's getting a "no lines" available message from the phone when he tries to make an outside call. I find this hard to believe considering the number of phones compared with the number of available trunks.
I have two problems.

1) I can VPN into the box, but for whatever reason I cannot use the line activity feature of BCM monitor. Can anyone enlighten me as to the possible cause.

2) Is there anything I should be checking with the trunk, pooling or anything else that may confirm the customer's problem. All the channels are configured for PoolA-PRI for line access.

Cheers

Check the CSU stats - might have problems with the T-1 pipe/errors/loss of frame, etc. That would account for the "no free lines", which occurs when the D-channel is down. Are you getting any alarms (alarm 42, 44, 75) on the alarm set/receptionist phone?

See if the LMS service is running - that would cause the line monitor not to function.
