I've just started at a new company and I have no experience with these phone systems. I've finally managed to track down the IP of the web tool and the user and pass to go with it. No how the heck do I change the information associated with a handset without having to add a new user (which isn't working correctly either)?

Any help would be greatly appreiciated!

I didn't understand what your asking and I don't usually say this ,but Call a vendor and pay to have them show you how to make simple changes.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Sorry for the confusing question...

John Doe used to work for us and had extention 1234. He has left and Jack Smith has taken over. However, whenever Jack calls someone from John's phone it shows John's name.

How do I change the name on that phone (through the BCM 200 web interface) to display the new name?

Second question, I just added a new user (because I couldn't figure out how to change the info) and now their voicemail doesn't work. Says "Not Initialized" but I entered the voicemail box extention when I set up the user. Voicemail still works on other phones.

DID you Initialize the Vmail by login to it and do the setup?

I agree w/ Ace. If you've never worked on tis system before u should get your vendor to sit down w/ you and give you a 1-2 hr training session showing u how add/delete mailboxes, change the company greeting, resetting pswds, and how to navigate thru basic BCM pgm. If you don't know what you're doing you could mess things up which will cost you more in the end.

Before msgs can be left in a user's mailbox, they have to initialize it. Record a name, etc.
