Hello world
Since BCM 4.0 the BCM recognizes the BCM model type (200 or 400) by reading the model-values from the system BIOS.
This will run you into problems if you're running your BCM200 with a BCM400 motherboard and you would like to upgrade to 4.0.
It is possible to change the BIOS values by writing a new ROM to the motherboard.
This makes it possible to exchange motherboards between BCM200 and BCM400 systems without any problems.
If you're interested, just tell me
