BCM1000 Access 1

We have a couple of BCM50's that we service. However, one of our MICS customer's has gone out and purchased a BCM1000 from a bank. They have asked us to come out and find out what the configuration is and if they system has the necessary key codes to do what they want it to do. My question is:

Is there a way to access the system from a laptop? How?

How do I download the admin software from the PBX?

What is the default IP address for the 1000?

If we have programmed and installed the 50's is there much difference in the 1000? If so...what?

We have had this customer for several years and I really dont want to lose a customer. So, I could really use some help!!

if the bcm 1000 is pre 4.0 you would use the web browser to program it
if the ip address has changed from default you will have trouble finding if not written on the system somewhere

with my system in office it has 2 lan connections so you might be able to connect to the second port and use its default address ,,or connect to the modem

i believe the default ip is 192.168.110.10 same as nam

On most BCM systems, LAN2 was left untouched as 10.10.11.1

If you know the login you can connect to the serial port with Hyperterminal and find out the IP address. 9600 8-N-1 with a crossover serial cable or null modem.
