Customer has a BCM1000 3.6 that we are upgrading to 4.0. The precheck was OK. I keep getting an error during the system health check concerning the upgrade keycode file that says "Return value of 7". Now I have done a search on this site and others including Nortel and I can't find anything explaining the value of 7. I have found an explanation of 8 but not 7. I have a case at Nortel on this. They did not know on Friday night what this value meant. Has anyone seen this?

As I am slapping my face for doing such a boneheaded thing, here is what the problem is. I had replaced the hard drive in this BCM some time ago. Apparantly when I generated the upgrade keycode I put in an 8 instead of a B for the sys id. I should change my name to bonehead.

The good news is now I know what "return value of 7" means.
