I have tried to upgrade a BCM from 3.7 to 4.0 however the upgrade failed because 3 of the partitions were the wrong size. The ONLY way to correct the partitions is to use BCM Imaging Tool (BIT). Partition Magic etc wont work, i need this nortel tool.

Does anyone have the BIT software??

Tool comes w/ all new BCM 3.7. In addition to the imaging tool, you also need to purchase a keycode.

The software images come with BCM 3.7, but the BIT software doesn't. No keycode is needed to use the BIT tool, but you do need an 'unlock' code that Nortel provides each time you use it. The software isn't cheap.

Search the forums and there are several posters who have figured out ways to reimage the HDs with Ghost using the Nortel image CD's. All the BIT tool is is Ghost with a Nortel front end to it.

Thanks!!!! I found it. I just need to do this

"ghost -clone,MODE=load,SRC=R:\37GA_BIT.GHO,DST=1,SZEE -ntchkdsk -sure –auto

and replace R:\37GA_BIT.GHO with the path to your ghost-image"
