I have a customer that would like me to qoute and install a BCM 450 as the host site for4 other sites.2 sites would have bcm 50s and 2 would have 4 ip sets each, is there an effective 911 routing for theese remote site so the proper adress is delivered.

Thanks,

So your trying to use the BCM 450 as a centralized solution? You definately can build routes patterns to different pots trunks addressed for the locations but are the sites within the same 911 dispatch center? Probably going to need some kind of ip or voice gateway and trunk at each site. Maybe a CS1000 or CCUM with CUBE appliance would be a better solution.

The BCM50 sites are no problem - just add at least one trunk to the local telco and route 911 calls over them from that site. At the sites with only IP sets you'll need an IP gateway and a pots line to connect it to the telco. Connect the other end to a trunk port at the BCM459 and assign it to a unique line pool that only the users at the VoIP site has access to.
