I'm having issues with external call forwarding. When a phone is externally call forwarded and the DID to that phone is called i'm getting a carrier message saying that the number called is not a working number. But if i just dial the extension through an intercom key the call forwarding works fine. Could this be a carrier issue? Or is there something I need to set allow the call to complete?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Redirect allowed.

Have you tried using the BCM monitor program to watch the call as it happens, you will see the numbers sent to the Telco.

i'm assuming your adding a 9 in front of your forwarding number...and like acewarlock stated you must allow redirect.

I had something similar that I have only done a work around on. On a BCM with 2 PRI's one for local the other for toll. When the extension is called the number forwards out fine, but when the DID is called the call comes in on one PRI and tries to forward to a long distance number using the other pri, the call gets dropped. It shows unknown reason. If I change the number to local (using the same PRI inbound and outbound), it forwards fine both internally and when the DID is called?
