Bcm Voice Mail Stops

I have a BCM400 4.0 and the Voice Mail seems to stop periodically. What happens is the BCM Telephony stays running but the Voice Mail stops -- cannot acces Mail at all. Sometimes (very slim chance) a reboot will fix but most of the time it will not. What I have to do is acutally go in and restart the Voice Mail Services. The system is fully patched to date. Any thoughts would help --- they do have the newer BFT with the Blue Capacitors.

Could be hard drive failing....make imgae while can.
Check for any alarms.

Had this happen once & in this case the voicemail shut down & had to be restarted in services everytime a backup tried to run. You say your patches are current.Does that mean that system 25 is your latest patch?

Thanks -- I have a good back up. I was thinking the same thing about the Hard Drive but not positive.

pccal -- This has happened a couple of times and I had to go in and start services each time. The one time I did do a backup when that happened and it does bring it back into service. I see that their is Su 25 -- at the time Su 24 was the last one out. I looked at the Su 25 and did not notice anything in that patched that refered to the Voice mail coming un responsive except in a different Country.

Patches sometimes fix things not mentioned.
Best to patch first to get any support.

Yes system has been patched up to date -- I actually patched thinking it would correct the problem but they still are having it reboot.

Then possibly hard ware issue such as BFT, PS or Hard Drive.
