This issue we are having is that when the customer purchased the BCM 50 from us they had groupwise 6.5 a support version for unified messaging.

Since then they have upgrade to version 7.0 of Groupwise which is not listed as a supported platform. I was trying to find out if there was an updated client for Groupwise 7.0 or there was any support info out there about getting it to work with version 7.0 of group wise since it has been released now a year and half. as a BCM50.

Thank you in advance
Melissa

I have a customer with a BCM 50 who upgraded to Groupwise 7.0 - it works fine, even though it doesn't show as supported.

Not sure - probably not. Nortel always seems to run a year or so behind the email clients.

The customer is going to get me the exact errors and at what point it is failing. Then I will get back to you.

Thanks!!! Just knowing SOMEONE has it working helps.

When you load the client on the users machine, it generates an error in Groupwise and when you then load Groupwise the synchronizing with Groupwise dialog box loads and hangs. I can manually kill the process and then Groupwise works fine. I am not sure what the exact error is, I can go and see if we need to. It seems the client does not properly set itself up in the Groupwise system. The error is related to the length of the field that is being added to the Groupwise system as being an invalid length.
