Hello , I currently have in place a BCM450 Rls 6.0 . We have 14 Unified Messaging seats and use The desktop faxing feature. All works great. The issue I've got at hand is that currently there is a single Flex T-1 for our service from Windstream. We want to go with their VoxIP service , but they say that any numbers for fax machines will still need to be analog because of faxing issues through the Cisco router they will install. For fax machines thats ok but what about our desktop fax application, will they not work dependably. Those numbers come in as D.I.D. numbers on the PRI now. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

The lines now are not analog they are DID/target lines thru the PRI that are answered by the express messaging line in the mailbox and that is how it works. To put analog lines on the system it look like you have 14 that means you would need to get 2 GATM cards to handle the analog lines.
That is the problem with these VOIP to PRI lines they do not work like a true voice PRI. Your going to have to spend some bucks for the cards plus pay each month for the analog lines so it would equal back out to be what you pay now for the PRI.
