I am a longtime Norstar tech but I have had very little exposure to the BCM and voip. Does anyone know where I might be able to get training??

Global Knowledge is the 'official' training company.

There are several CBTs you can get as well. With your Norstar background, you've got over half the box figured out already.

Get yourself a copy of Data Networking for VoIP NTP 553-3001-160 and read it. This will explain the concepts of VoIP in great detail.

There are several BCM based NTPs that will help you out too.

I am attending a BCM class through Global Knowledge Oct 29 through Nov 2 in Morristown NJ. It is a "bootcamp" style class that goes over the 50/200/400 systems at the 4.0 level. I've been to Global Knowledge classes before, and for the most part are very good. I am hoping for the best on this one. I've been working on these for a couple of months and it has been "sink or swim" with a lot of calls to our vendor for tech support. I am hoping to get more in depth knowledge on the BCM with this class.
