BCM SIP Faxing

I have sites networked via SIP trunks but I cannot get faxing to work.
Site A BCM400 4.0
Site B BCM50 3.0

I have T.38 selected
send fax from site A to site B 4 digits it rings the far end
far end fax picks up but during the handshake it drops.

I have also noticed a few DSP errors in the alarm log on site B but I'm unsure what I could look at to resolve this problem.

full T1 with only 4 sip trunks

any ideas?? Thanks

Check the speed of the Fax machines. Nortel have stated that SIP will NOT support 14400baud. Also the Fax machines need to be T38 compatible.

We had this problem on CS1kE rls 4.5 had to move the analogues into the T so that faxes did not go over SIP.

I networked another BCM50 via sip at a new location and their fax works fine.

So I believe your correct the fax at the other location must not support T38

It's only dialtone-VZ
