I just installed a new BCM the other day....now I need to make some program changes and my laptop crashed....I bought a new XP but can"t seem to set up my subnet parms to access the BCM Manager....pls help

Sorry Bugdog but can you give us a bit more detail.

If it is you cannot logon to the BCM you could check out the FAQ

This will give you the requirements and how to login.

But if it is something more plese give a bit more detail.

Thanks

Thanks Mrmarshall,
I was told by Nortel ETAS that I could not logon to the BCM using win xp.

Go to "My network Places" right click, select properties,
select your network connection, select properties, select TCPIP, select properties, and you will see all of your choices.

If you can't find My network places, go to control panel, select Network and internet connections, select Network connections, select properties, and select TCPIP and continue as above.
Good Luck.

I have a network with ever PC running windows xp service pack 2 and a windows 2003 server and ever machine on the network can logon to the BCM.There is about 100 PCS. It is not the operating system but the browser. I run suse on my laptop and firefox and I can logon to the BCM. I would be very suprised if you can not log on to the BCM.

But if you could give us a bit more detail as to what is happening I am sure we could help you out.
