My BCM 50 Rls3 receives digits and establishes a call when placed from the CS1000E, however when I return the same digits to the CS1000E I receive fast busy with the prompt on the 7316E "no route to destination".

The BCM monitor shows the VOIP line 4 being seized by highlighting it blue when I press 8 as the trunk access code, it then shows the four digits I am dialing out. The blue highlight goes out on the monitor at the same time the telephone instrument prompt comes on.

I am fairly confident the the BCM is correctly programmed, so my question then is what settings/prompts within the NRS and or CS1000E need to be looked at and corrected so that it can recognize and route the digits that are being sent to it from the BCM?

Thanks for the help.

Ray

Make sure you have routing entries in the NRS against the CS1000 endpoint for the numbers you are dialing. For example, if dialing 7123 from the BCM, make sure you have matching digits in the NRS, such as 71, 712, etc. Set the call type to CDP and you should be set. Also make sure you are typing the call correctly in the BCM. Private calls should be typed as CDP assuming your private dial plan is configured properly on the BCM.

Thanks for the help Biv....

I do have the BCM set as CDP. NRS endpoind digits may be where the problem is. Will not be able to check on it until Monday however.
