I have BCM 400 with 3.7 software useing lan 2 as published ip. When i check status of lan port it shows lan 2 as being down so i change to lan 1 , changing ip address rebot system and the other lan comes up but the lan being used as published ip will not let any ip phones reg. and also the status show the lan is down. Need help.

BCM rebot ip phones will not set up

Can u ping the BCM from your network? What do the IP sets show when trying to register a set? Are u using static IPs for your sets? If static did u remember to put the S1 IP and assign 7000 as the port? What type of sets are you trying to use?

You should be able to do one of the following:
* Change your published IP to LAN 1
* Use LAN 1 as your gateway address when you register the sets.
