BCM R4?

A few months after upgrade to R 3.7 to R4, via upgrade tool. The hard drive crapped out. All digital programing worked, but no Vmail or EM. I installed a R4 hard drive applied a good back up and voicemail came back, but it scrambled all the digital phone programing. After reprograming the phones, I cant access voicemail thru the EM and get an alarm that the http service has stopped. I also can't install any patches. My gut tells me I should have patched up before I applied the upgrade. Any thoughts?

I don't think you can patch the system until it's been upgraded to 4.0. However, the 4.0 system patch needs applying first, before the desktop.
