Hi All,

I have a BCM400, R3.6 installed as a Workgroup, and I'm trying to install it on a Domain.

Has anyone done this before, and can you outline the parameters I need programmed in order for the BCM to become a client computer on my domain.

I have LAN w/ Windows 2003 servers, OS WinXP.

Any reason why you are adding it to the domain?

Reason I ask is that it tends to break more things on the BCM than it's worth. I did this once and had a heck of a time getting it off the domain to make things function properly again.

That being said, it's added same as any NT 4.0 server - create an account on the domain, log into the Unified Manager, open System, Identification, click Change Domain Membership, follow the prompts and pray.

Sounds like a good time to take advice w/out having to learn from from a troublefilled experience, guys. So I won't pursue this venture any further.

The reason I wanted to have the BCM on my domain is because I have problems getting CDR reports to download to the Client Wrapper and the CDR Pull Client. As far as the Pull Client goes, I am not able to find the BCM on my network when I browse to add the machine to the BCM List file. I thought making it a part of the domain would fix that issue.

That being said, can anyone go over the settings for CDR reports on LAN Win2003 and OS, WinXP?

I have tried Push and Pull settings. None of them work. I am starting to think I may have to upgrade to R3.7 to get CDR to work.

Thanks Ace

Hi Bryan

I have sent you an email with all the CDR info not sure if I sent it to you before. I have also sent you a list of the patches you should have on the box.

Marshall,

Thank you so much for the followup. I did just receive an email with the patches I need to install on my BCM. The exchange server at my worksite was down for a couple days so I must have missed your email.

Can I download the patches from and how do I go about installing them?

You guys have been really swell for technical support on BCM issues and problems. I am just really thankful for the help!

Cheers!

I think they are on my site. I am about to change alot of it because there has been a new cumulative patch 3 released for the BCM. Have a look under downloads you will find the link for the patches.
