BCM Monitor access

I have 50 BCM's and I just replaced the hard drive on one and now when I try to access it using the BCM Monitor, it tells me it can't find that BCM. I can logon using the BCM Manager or serial port with no problem. any body seen this one before.

Can you install any patches on the BCM with the harddrive?

Could it be a version mismatch?

it's at 3.6 with both patch 1 and 2 installed.
