Anyone know if there is a generic memory card that will work with the BCM 400 other than purchasing an additional memory module from Nortel?

as long as the type, speed, parity match it should be ok
(assuming you are talking about the RAM)

I Know what Type and speed it is, how do I find what the parity is?

the one i have on the lab bcm is
168pin, unbuffered, pc133, non-parity (non ECC)

you should match to whatever is already there
