BCM Keycodes availability

Team does anyone know if Avaya will stop selling BCM keycodes aster 1.10.2015?
I do not see any official info but i was told so.
Can anyone confirm what is happening?

As far as I know this is true. There are a lot of auth codes in circulation that Avaya will still activate until the supply is depleted.

I've been telling my clients to buy auth codes now while supplies last, even if you don't need them right away you got expansion covered. Great way to make some cash.

Guys thanks for the sales tips but is today the last day to order keycodes? i know if you have paper based keycodes KRS will accept them ( provided KRS will be active) but what is the official stop ship day? Is it today? 30.9.15?
I cannot find any official document about this.

I wouldn't worry too much about the keycode support ending. There will always be ways to overcome it and there are still plenty of BCM's around in use.

(Still plenty of Norstar's in use and the BCM was designed to replace them!)

Yes but it is not easy to expand a system if just ip users or ip trunks needed as everything is Keycoded. what i see from customers as a reaction is not to migrate to IPO when the systems can not be supported but going to competition.

It's 2 parts Koul...when will Authorization key codes run out and when will Avaya stop generating them.

Most of the suppliers I know have run out of 1 seat voice mail authorization codes as an example but have plenty of 8 and 16 seat auth codes.

It has been noted that key code generation will end 2018 in another thread.
So chances are Auth codes will run out sooner.

Support however ends next month, only if you have a service contract with Avaya direct will you get support until 2018.

IPO is currently supported so I dont get your comment.
